Rafaela Konstantinidi an undergraduate research student in my group at Sheffield has had her research project selected for presentation at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) on 12-13 April 2018. The project is entitled 'Investigating how the presence of spermatozoa alters the secretion of extracellular vesicles by cultured porcine oviductal epithelial cells in an in vitro model of the female reproductive tract'. The University of Sheffield research group attended the UK Extracellular Vesicles Forum on 12 December 2017. The abstract presented was titled "Investigating whether the presence of spermatozoa alters the secretion of extracellular vesicles by cultured porcine oviductal epithelial cells in an in vitro model of the female reproductive tract".  Rafaela Konstantinidi was awarded SURE Student Researcher of the Year 2018.
