Great news from Sheffield

Rafaela Konstantinidi an undergraduate research student in my group at Sheffield has had her research project selected for presentation at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) on 12-13 April 2018. The project is entitled 'Investigating how the presence of spermatozoa alters the secretion of extracellular vesicles by cultured porcine oviductal epithelial cells in an in vitro model of the female reproductive tract'. Good luch for future investigations Rafaela!

The University of Life Sciences and the Chair of Animal Breeding and Biotechnology Institute of Veterinary are welcoming Monika Dovenska Monika Dovenska was born in 1986 in Kumanovo, Macedonia, where she finished primary and high school.  In 2012 she got her DVM title at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb in Croatia. The University of Sheffield research group attended the UK Extracellular Vesicles Forum

The University of Sheffield research group attended the UK Extracellular Vesicles Forum on 12 December 2017. The abstract presented was titled "Investigating whether the presence of spermatozoa alters the secretion of extracellular vesicles by cultured porcine oviductal epithelial cells in an in vitro model of the female reproductive tract".  Rafaela Konstantinidi was awarded SURE Student Researcher of the Year 2018.
