On 19th of September 2017 a seminar "Technology Transfer and patenting. Experiences and practices of Copenhagen University" took place in EMU Assembly Hall. At the beginning of September, SEARMET project team met again in Tartu, Estonia. During the Steering Committee meeting different upcoming deliverables, trainings as well as the organization of Searmet Winter School „Molecular Biology in Animal Sciences“ was discussed by the partners. On 25th of August 2017, SEARMET project manager Hector Pagan conducted a workhop on topic „Managing Research Projects“ at EMU. The main goal of the workshop was to teach PhD students and postdocs about managing their research projects and discuss the most common mistakes. Hector introduced the three elements that most funders look for when supporting projects: excellence, implementation and impact.
