At the beginning of September, SEARMET project team met again in Tartu, Estonia. During the Steering Committee meeting different upcoming deliverables, trainings as well as the organization of Searmet Winter School „Molecular Biology in Animal Sciences“ was discussed by the partners. Project team decided to have our next SEARMET Steering Committee meeting in March 2018 in UK.

On 5th of September 2017 the workshop „Curriculum Development“ took place at EMU main building (Kreutzwaldi 1, room 104). Workshop was organized by EMU in cooperation with the University of Sheffield. The workshop was conducted by Professor Michelle Marshall from the University of Sheffield. On 25th of August 2017, SEARMET project manager Hector Pagan conducted a workhop on topic „Managing Research Projects“ at EMU. The main goal of the workshop was to teach PhD students and postdocs about managing their research projects and discuss the most common mistakes.
